Ernst Haas
Ernst Haas was a Austrian-born photojournalist that when he was young he was interested in painting and medicine but after world war 2 happened he abandoned that and decided to do photography. He started off with abstract photographs which contained a lot of bright colours and he also focused on light and form as well. In 1947 he became a staff photographer for picture magazine and went into photojournalism. You can see in his photographs that he enjoyed using bright colours which gave his images an eye-catching view to them. The photograph to the left is quite hard to tell what it is but the photograph is of the paint being scratched off of a car. The way you can't tell what the image is gives it a very abstract impact. The photograph in the middle is actually an image of a poster that has been torn which also has a lovely abstract impact. The last photograph has more of an obvious view of what it is. Even though you can see what the last image is, it still has a lovely impact with the colours and the way the cars are blurred out.
Jaromir Funk
Jaromir was a Czech photographer. He enjoyed using different shadows in his work. People have had trouble understanding his work as it is very different from other photographers work. His photographs all seem to be shown in quite dull colours.
